The Alberta Crown Attorneys’ Association (ACAA), represents Crown Prosecutors in Alberta and advocates for a well-resourced justice system to protect all Albertans.
Our Purpose
The ACAA represents Crown Prosecutors in Alberta and advocates for their fair compensation, benefits and workplace conditions. We seek to ensure that Crown Prosecutors are supported and protected in the workplace. We strive to ensure that our members have appropriate resources and operate in working conditions that enable Crown Prosecutors in Alberta to excel in their pursuit of just outcomes.
The ACAA acknowledges that an effective justice system should be evaluated by the sum of all of its parts. Crown Prosecutors are only one part of our justice system. Our advocacy extends beyond the collective rights and benefits of our members. We also work to support and promote the proper administration of justice and respect for the rule of law. The ACAA advocates for a well-resourced justice system that serves and protects all Albertans.
Land Acknowledgement
The ACAA recognizes that we are located on and work throughout Treaty 4, 6, 7, 8 and 10 territories - the travelling route, gathering place and meeting grounds for Indigenous Peoples, whose histories, languages, cultures and traditions continue to influence our communities. We recognize the land as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside and work on.

Your membership fees allow us to advocate for prosecutors and the justice system. In accordance with our bylaws, to become a member, applicants must be Crown Prosecutors employed by the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service for the Government of Alberta.
